I was on tour with phish that fall run from Chicago through Vegas. I distinctly remember not really enjoying Fiddlers Green as a venue. I also remember the band basically quitting in the middle of Trey’s guitar solo at the end of heavy things. Then a LONG uncomfortable pause from the band before Brother. I think my personal favorite show from the shows I saw was 9/22/2000. I highly recommend giving that show a listen and review if you’re interested.
Several people have commented about not liking the venue. That place must be horrible

Awesome thanks for reviewing! 90% of the times I come back to this show it is to listen to the Piper through Mango. Just so good. Yeah the Horn is rough, kinda forgot about that. That Piper though, just awesome!

Eagle dates at the Sphere end Oct 20. So Phish Halloween Sphere run is on the table. Let’s hope so.
Original Sphere announcement I believe said those April shows would be the only Sphere shows of 2024.

That '98 cutoff date is rather severe...looks like 12-31-99 failed to live up to your standards.
i was at cypress. this statement was hyperbole. i do think 97-98 was the best however. i just don’t get down with the composition after Story of the ghost. i still go to shows… i worked at Magna ball. to each their own.

I was sitting on "the green". Before set 1 or 2 started i swear they raised the curtain knee high showing their feet and noodled the "my 3 sons TV theme". The gal i was with loved it.

The real bummer is that I have never been to a Phish show and I was going to use the money I got from my summer job into going to see them this Fall. I couldn’t do YEMSG, so Fall was the only option and I guess I’ll have to wait til next year to get a chance at seeing these guys. It’s super disappointing.

Take a week off for Mondegreen in Delaware or dicks in Colorado if ur south bound. It’s worth the trip and an unforgettable journey. Keep grinding phriend!

My wife went to this show. I unfortunately missed it. Fiddlers Green is not the best venue. Stark contrast to the nearby Red Rocks!
